I’m officially filing with the Wake County Board of Elections on Friday for the District D City Council race.

We’ve reserved a patio table at one of my favorite local restaurants with an excellent view of our beautiful Raleigh. This event is a celebration but also a chance to sit and talk together about what is important to us in Raleigh. I’ve heard from many of you that housing affordability, transit options, fair pay for employees, valuing our parks, and supporting our local businesses are key topics you think Raleigh can do better on. I’ve designed this event to give us time to have deeper conversations on these issues and I’d love to hear more about the ideas and solutions you have for addressing them.
