Design Principal at The Rocket Shop
As Design Principal, Jenn creates housing solutions that center community and connection. Jenn pairs passion with her background in architecture and engineering, alongside her experience navigating tricky zoning regulations, all to design spaces that bring people together.
From concept layouts to residential permit drawings, The Rocket Shop provides clients with a smooth trajectory to build places that stand the test of time.
Jenn ran for Raleigh City Council in 2022 with a campaign built on optimism.
Though her election bid was unsuccessful, she continues to be involved as an outspoken community member on issues of transit, fair pay, housing, affordable housing and development.

traditional korean bbq by popular local food truck owners serves a full fast-casual menu from inside three shipping containers. walnut millwork softens the interior and compliments the industrial steel shipping containers while framing views to the second level balcony.

modern take on a classic new york pizzeria in the heart of raleigh historic person street neighborhood. great food is complimented by an understated interior style that takes advantage of brick walls and vintage black and white tile. redesigned storefront with garage door opens the seating area to the street.

Oakwood Pizza Box
boutique hotel campus in downtown Cary which was part of early downtown revitalization. many sustainable details include rainwater catchment for landscaping use onsite.
Cary. opened 2016.
Jenn was engineering intern for stormwater design components including roof drainage, rain water cisterns and stormwater discharge while at Pabst Design Group.

Over the last decade, Jenn’s design and architecture work has given her first hand knowledge of what it takes to build great places. Through her work she has helped create some of the City’s favorite local businesses. As business owner who collaborates with other small local businesses, Jenn knows how impactful and essential small businesses are to building our cities and creating places we love. She also uses her design expertise to give back to the community.

Jenn has served in leadership roles representing associates and aspiring architects for the local Triangle area section (2016-18), the North Carolina chapter (2018-22), and the South Atlantic region on National Associates Committee (2020-22).
Jenn also started the local Advocacy committee in 2025, and serves on the national Candidate Development Committee (2023 - present), which builds the leadership pipeline by advancing candidates for positions on the Board of Directors and the Strategic Council.
